Classroom Donations

Thank you for your patients this week! I have had a wonderful time getting to know your children. I am still working on setting up the classroom. This weekend I am going to bring in my classroom books, hang posters, and get organized!

We are in need of classroom games for break time and indoor recess. Thank you to the Jones' family for bringing in Blokus and cards and to the Delgado family for Battleship. I am going to look for games over the weekend as well.

I still would love to have questionnaires turned in for all of the students. Please fill those out and send them back to school. Thank you for those of you that completed them. It looks like we will be doing homework packets that are sent home on Monday and returned on Friday. Reading will be a nightly routine. Please read with your child for 15-20 minutes each night. I will be sending home reading logs starting in November. I will also send home the classroom newsletter on Monday's.

Thank you for all the interest in parent volunteering. I would love to have volunteers in the classroom helping with math and reading groups, art, or science projects. However, I will need some time before I can  have volunteers in the classroom.
